I love that you are my superstar DJ. It's been so fun lately being the dj wife.

Slacker....me...not you.

I haven't forgot about this. I still love you for all these reasons and more. Two weeks of slacking means I owe you lots of reasons like:

1.Your help with the stuff we gotta take care of recently. I was feeling overwhelmed for a while. All emo because I felt I like I was doing everything. But you have really stepped up lately and I have noticed.

2.Going to the mall with me and watching a chick-flick, even though you would have rather gone to a manly man show with the boys. I would have missed you if you left me that night. But you should do it another day and soon.

3. And thanks for letting me be your manager. It's so fun for me. It's been fun being involved in all the BCH stuff hasn't it?

I love that it supersedes race, religion, gender, etc. I have had the most interesting conversations with the most interesting people because of it. It truly is feel good music. I love that it has taught me to be a more spiritual person. It makes me want to dance, move, create. I just can't even explain how it has touched my life. How do you explain it?

I love the connection it gives us. I love listening to, talking about, and dancing to it. Needless to say it is my music too. I love it. And I love you baby!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE dancing with you. Last night was the best baby. From me getting home from work and you just doing whatever you could to make me feel better. To going downtown to see what this festival was all about. When that didn't work out and we went and had a romantic dinner. Then over to dance our butts off at the club. Really does it get anything better then sharing the evening together? It doesn't really matter what we do either. We can just roll with the punches and have a great time. But dancing with you is the best. I'm glad that even after 6 years we are still sharing that after all it's what brought us together. And there is the music factor, I'm so glad that you introduced me to the world of electronic music and that I could become passionate about it too. Maybe not as much as you though! I love sharing something that we both love. And we can both appreciate a great DJ that helps us find our groove.

Weds Wal-Mart

Even if it's not what you wanted to do. I'm glad that we spent some time together at the good ol Wal-Mart yesterday. And then we got the house together, together. And now tonight is all yours and mine to do what we need to. I'm always so glad that you care about what we buy and how our house is. I'm just glad I don't have to figure all that stuff out by myself :)

But well you know that we are no good at it. And I think it would be more fun for you to read it when I write it then save it up like I planned. So here is a test to see if you will find it if I put it out there for you.

Picture Perfect Evenings.

I love laying in your office reading while you work on music. Is there a more perfect way to spend an evening? I guess dinner would have been a nice addition but other wise it was perfect last night.

Patience.

I can't believe how patient you are when I am struggling with my recent headaches. I know I was no fun on Saturday night and then Sunday I just wanted to lay around all day. Thanks for making sure that our house stayed put together and that I got food to eat. I can't believe how frustrating this must be for you, but you rarely say anything. And for that I love you all the more.

Bedtime Part 2.

I love that I can't stop talking, laughing, and not sleeping when we happen to go to bed together. I love that even though you have to get up in 5 hours we can't stop giggling. I love that we can't try to go to bed at the same time because it is so counter productive. I love that sometime I have to ask you to go lay on the couch for a few minutes so that I can get to bed before you come in else we will never go to bed. I love that after 5 years we are still best friends having a sleep over party when we try to go to bed together. Sorry you are taking a nap on your lunch break because you got so little sleep last night. But thanks for the laughs last night!

Bedtime.

I can't imagine going to bed without you there to take care of me. If it weren't for you I'd sleep in a wad of covers, with all the lights in the house on, run my humidifier with no water, not plug in my phone or do anything else to make sure that the house or me is ready for bed. My whole life I remember having problems falling asleep but since you and I have gotten into our routine I fall asleep right away most of the time. I know that you don't always like having to be the responsible one while I just fall into bed. But I can't tell you what it means to me that you take care of things! I love nothing more then our good night kiss!

This one's for you baby.

So I had this idea. I want to make sort of a romance journal. Like a gratitude journal but all about why I love you. Someday I'll tell you about this. Or you will find it. I hope I can keep it safe until a great moment. We are really bad at keeping secrets from each other though so I'm not sure that it will work.

If anyone else finds this then you will know a few of the reasons that I love my hubby. But don't tell him about it. It's a secret for now.
